As a young woman Martha entered the world of business early, helping her father with marketing and his company’s finances during her school years. She also gathered further insight from her entrepreneurial Aunt working at her bakery before taking on a job with the Ontario Government. There she handled a variety of responsibilities and fine-tuned her people skills over the course of 11 years.


When the time came for a change she made the decision to first expand her skills and furthered her education in the area of business, financing, marketing and computer technologies. Martha also bought and sold a few homes and decided she’d like to learn more about tenancy and investment - the natural choice was to then become licensed in Real Estate which opened the door to a new and exciting career.

As her experience grew Martha discovered her passion - buying and selling real estate and truly helping people to find the perfect home. It was a balancing act in the beginning but Martha persevered to build her career while maintaining that family is of the utmost importance.

Martha believes that good relationships are what build good business and in knowing her clients she can sit at the negotiating table and represent their best interests. This philosophy has been key to her success through great markets and challenging ones. No matter the type of market, Martha is able to continue providing great service to her clients.

Martha is proud to say that her daughter Devonia has followed in her footsteps. Devonia originally planned on becoming a lawyer but growing up in a ‘real estate house’ she soon saw what her mother loved about the business. Devonia concentrated on becoming a Broker and building “The De Beck Group” a company that provides services for ‘Move Management’ and Home Staging. This mother daughter combination offers both experience and specialized service realizing that homes sell faster and for better value when they are presented well.

Martha can confidently say that she will always go the extra mile for her clients and is very attentive to their needs. They certainly benefit from her entrepreneurial spirit, experience and professionalism.

Martha concentrates her business in the Brampton area but is not limited to that area, she also maintains knowledge of the Toronto, Mississauga and GTA markets to better service her clients. Her intention is to always be building a successful business through repeat clients and the referrals of their family and friends.
